Risk/Fraud Analyst


  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
  2. Proven years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, chargeback, or compliance, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify risk patterns.
  4. Knowledge of fraud detection techniques, risk assessment methodologies, dispute management, fraud cycle, counterfeit, and trending disputes.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving.


  1. Conduct risk assessments and analyses to identify potential fraud and financial crime risks within the organization's operations.
  2. Monitor transactions, accounts, and activities for suspicious behavior or anomalies, investigating and escalating as necessary.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and operations, to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  4. Analyze data and trends to identify patterns and emerging risks, recommending proactive measures to prevent fraud and financial losses.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fraud prevention and risk management.
  6. Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities as needed.
