Regional Sales Manager - Odisha

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to contribute to our company’s goals. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships. 


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies  
  2. Lead sales team members to achieve overall sales targets for the company. 
  3. IT solutions sales in Private schools in the region  
  4. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer/partner accounts  
  5. Negotiate and close agreements with large customers/partners.  
  6. Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements 
  7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts  
  8. Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities 
  9. Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client's needs  
  10. Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency  
  11. Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board 
  12. Building Collaboration and Alliances 
  13. Building Referral programs with influential companies 
  14. Building a strong network of key stakeholders in the region at Government/ Banking/ Large e-commerce companies/ Educational Institutions etc 


Requirements:

  1. Overall experience of minimum 12+ years in software solution selling.  
  2. Experience in selling and managing E-Governance, IT solution sales will be highly preferable.  
  3. B2B Sales 
  4. Engineer or MBA 
  5. Experience in creating and managing channel sales.  
  6. Experience in working with Banks as a channel partner will be highly preferable.  
  7. Experience in creating and managing a high-performance sales team.  
  8. Experience in setting up processes, Standard Operating Procedures, and continuous performance appraisal through relevant metrics.  
  9. Strong communication and team management skills  
  10. Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.  
  11. Availability to travel all over the assigned territory.  
  12. Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field  
  13. Language preference – English, Hindi, and one local language.
