AVP - Operations

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as AVP-Operations, Operations Manager or similar leadership role
  2. Knowledge of Banking and Payments
  3. Experience of managing payments
  4. Experience with merchant difficult merchants/clients
  5. Familiarity with all business functions including HR, finance, supply chain and IT
  6. Experience with implementing IT systems
  7. Good with numbers & financial planning and knowledge of data analytics and reporting
  8. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  9. Excellent organizational and leadership ability
  10. Analytical mind
  11. Problem-solving aptitude
  12. BCom/BSc/BA in Business with relevant field. MBA is preferable.

Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
  2. Day to day operations, settlement, client onboarding etc.
  3. Design policies that align with overall strategy
  4. Implement efficient processes and standards
  5. Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
  6. Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
  7. Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization
  8. Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
  9. Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts
  10. Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits
  11. Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  12. Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
