Risk/Fraud Analyst
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
- Proven years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, chargeback, or compliance, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify risk patterns.
- Knowledge of fraud detection techniques, risk assessment methodologies, dispute management, fraud cycle, counterfeit, and trending disputes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and analyses to identify potential fraud and financial crime risks within the organization's operations.
- Monitor transactions, accounts, and activities for suspicious behavior or anomalies, investigating and escalating as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and operations, to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Analyze data and trends to identify patterns and emerging risks, recommending proactive measures to prevent fraud and financial losses.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fraud prevention and risk management.
- Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities as needed.
