Risk Associate


Overview


The Risk Associate plays a critical role within the risk management team, responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organization. This position requires a keen analytical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to ensure the organization's risk exposures are effectively managed.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Risk Identification and Assessment:
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential risks that could affect the organization.
  3. Evaluate the significance and impact of identified risks and prioritize them based on the organization's risk appetite.
  4. Risk Mitigation Strategies:
  5. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  6. Collaborate with different departments to ensure risk controls are integrated into operational processes.
  7. Monitoring and Reporting:
  8. Continuously monitor risk indicators and ensure timely reporting to senior management.
  9. Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for stakeholders, showcasing risk trends and impacts.
  10. Compliance and Governance:
  11. Ensure all risk management activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  12. Assist in developing and maintaining risk management frameworks and governance structures.
  13. Collaboration and Support:
  14. Work closely with the risk management team and other departments to foster a culture of risk awareness.
  15. Provide support and guidance on risk-related issues to other team members and departments.


Qualifications

  1. Education:
  2. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field.
  3. Experience:
  4. 1-3 years of experience in risk management, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  5. Skills:
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  8. Proficient in using risk management software and tools.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
