Senior Automation Tester

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in automation testing.
  3. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  4. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.
  5. Proficient in a scripting or programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  6. Good understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  7. Experience in API testing and performance testing.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  10. Experience with mobile automation testing tools like Appium.
  11. Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions.
  12. Familiarity with SQL and databases.
  13. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  14. Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
  2. Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
  3. Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and errors found during testing.
  4. Collaborate with the development team to resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.
  5. Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  6. Participate in the design and development of automated testing strategies and plans.
  7. Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior automation testers.
