Regional Sales Manager - Hyderabad

Role Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager  to lead enterprise and mid-market sales across Hyderabad This role requires strong expertise in B2B IT/software solutions, payment gateway products, and managing high-performing regional teams. Exposure to government or institutional sales will be a plus.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Own and drive regional revenue targets for software solutions, payment products, and enterprise offerings
  2. Lead a team of Area Sales Managers, Channel Partners, and Key Account Executives
  3. Identify, engage, and convert opportunities in private schools, government bodies, banking partners, and mid-large enterprises
  4. Build strong channel and referral networks including EPCs, OEMs, ISVs, and fintech aggregators
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with CXOs, procurement heads, and government stakeholders
  6. Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including pipeline forecasting, deal negotiation, and closure
  7. Collaborate with marketing for demand generation, regional events, and brand visibility
  8. Monitor key sales metrics (conversion, revenue, TPV, retention, churn) and report to leadership
  9. Train and mentor sales staff, drive SOPs, and ensure operational discipline
  10. Stay informed on market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory updates (especially in edtech, fintech, e-governance)

Required Qualifications & Skills

  1. 10+ years of experience in B2B sales (SaaS, fintech, or IT services), with at least 3+ years in a regional leadership role
  2. Proven success in selling payment gateway, digital platforms, or enterprise software
  3. Familiarity with government/e-governance sales, tenders, empanelments (preferred)
  4. Strong network across South India, with demonstrated ability to build and grow key accounts
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  6. Experience in team leadership, hiring, and mentoring
  7. Willingness to travel extensively across the southern region
  8. Fluent in English, Hindi, and at least one South Indian language (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam)

Education

  1. Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, or related field) is a must
  2. MBA/PGDM is preferred
